I may have to take back what I said.
According to this piece from 1up.com Shinrei Shashin is a joint effort between Tecmo and Nintendo. This increases the likelihood of its release.
Though of course some douchecookie on NeoGAF had to say, "Well, first first-party 3DS game not to be localized by NOA confirmed."
Still. A hope. I has it.

I had a dream I didn't want to wake up from at all. I had run across a bunch of James Branch Cabell's books in Bewitched In Salem. Somehow Bill had gotten his hands on a lot; some were the Del Ray reprints from the 70's, most were the printings from the 20's, but there were also a few first editions in the mix. I've found yet another game that intrigues me, and like Ghost Wire will probably end up in developmental hell. This one is called Spirit Hunters Inc. This seems more Pokemon while Ghost Wire seems more Fatal Frame. Of course, I'm just going by initial impression, and far from thinking this is a bad thing.
I'll have to keep an eye on this one, too -

Holy crap, I have been just spamming it up with videos. BUT LOOK!
It's no Fatal Frame on the DS, but it's Tecmo and Cing! That's like, CAKE WITH FROSTING!
